Network marketing is composed of thousands of marketers each with different personalities however, looking at the entire industry you can see just tree dominating personality types. These personality types can be explained by referring to 3 animal types, the sheep, the cub and the lion.



The Sheep Personality Type



This is the follower in the industry. This is the most predominant animal type making up the industry. The sheep do what the herd does and in marketing often times this means doing what doesn't work. These are the once that are struggling to keep their business afloat. They are promoting their business opportunity like all the rest of the marketing sheep, some even alienating friends and family to do it.



Sheep want success and don't understand why its not happening if they are doing what everyone else is. They believe in quick overnight success and often look for some push button solution because that is what all the other marketers believe. Often times they don�t succeed and end up doing what most sheep in this network marketing do quit and go back to the daily grind of a job.



The Cub Personality Type



The cub is the student of the marketing industry. The cub personality is a sheep that realized that just because everyone else was marketing their businesses it doesn't mean that it works. Cubs find successful marketers and learn from them. They spend their money on coursed and training, anything that will put them above all the other marketers. They concentrate on perfecting different marketing strategies and providing valuable content to other marketers.



The cub is starting to see positive results of their investment and effort which fuels their determination to achieve even greater success.The cub personality type knows that success doesn't just happen it has to be created and they are determined to make it happen.



They work just as hard on improving their mindset as they do to improve their marketing, they know that success is dependent on their mindset. The cub has mentors, people who have already achieved great success. The cub's mentors are the lions, the third personality type of network marketing.



The Lion Personality Type



Lions are the six and seven figure earners, the industry leaders. They are what both the sheep and the cub aspire to be. Lions have the ability to make success look easy.



The lion already experienced success and they will have no problem creating overnight success in any network marketing business. They possess a strong positive success mindset, and never allow any negativity into their lives. They are able to attract sheep and cubs into their presence wanting to joining the lions business opportunity without even knowing what it is. Lions don't take success for granted, they know that its a result of their daily effort over a period of time and to sustain that success they have to keep putting in the effort. The lion is extremely goal oriented, they are willing to work out any challenges that may occur to achieve those goals.
